Stage 1: Meet and Discuss Design Goals
By coming to us, you most likely have already decided on what the goal of your website or design will be. During this stage, you will relay those ideas and goals to your designer.

Stage 2: Establish Likes and Dislikes
We usually ask our clients to fill out a questionaire to better determine their needs, wants, likes and dislikes. If you have seen websites before, you probably have a good idea of what catches your eye, and what you absolutely despise. During this stage, we will discuss the ideas for the style of the design, such as colors, content, images, and extras. We will go through samples to better determine what style suits your business best.

During this stage, inital payment is due.

Stage 3: Initial Concept Design
In this stage, we will begin designing your site based on your ideas, likes and dislikes. A screen-shot of your homepage will be sent to you for approval of the layout. Due to the site not being up and running yet, you will not be able to navigate, but will get an idea of how the final site will look. Any animation will be sent in additional screen-shots. You may approve the design as it, make changes, or request a new design. Once the homepage is completed, the design process will be in full swing and our refund policy will be in effect.

Also, by Stage 2, we request that all content is delivered. We usually cannot move forward with the design until we receive content.

Stage 4: Finalize Design
We work with you through screen-shots, or face-to-face meetings to complete the website. Please request any revision as soon as possible. Once you have given us the approval on the final design, any changes to the design itself or a request to start over will incurr additional fees.

During this phase, we will also add basic SEO to your site. Please note, we do not guarantee placement in search engines, but include SEO in our design packages as a courtesy to our clients.

Stage 5: Revision & Testing Period
Your website will be accessible to you through a username and password, so that you may navigate it and request revisions. We will then test your website and ask you to do the same - checking links, forms and spelling.

Stage 6: Hosting, Domain & Emails
Once your website is completed, we will set up your domain, hosting and email accounts, and supply you with instructions on how to access each of them.

Stage 7: Go Live
Now we will upload your site to the host server and run another test on all functionalities. Your new site will be submitted to the major search engines by hand, and the open directory. We will also feature your website on the home page of AllyCat Designs for a brief time, until it is moved to our portfolio. Final payment must be made within the first 5 days after site is live to avoid any interruption of services.
